Why were some of the digital filter blocks removed from the DSP Blockset library in version 4.1 (R12.1)?
In the DSP Blockset 4.1 (R12.1), the Digital FIR Raised Cosine Filter, among others, disappeared from the DSP BlockSet library. Why was it removed?
Can I "import" the missing blocks from R12 into R12.1?

This enhancement has been incorporated in Release 2007a (R2007a). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:
The FDATool filter design block has replaced the filters that were in the DSP Digital Filter Design Library in the DSP Blockset 4.0 (R12). This block uses the Filter Design and Analysis Tool GUI. The advantage of this block is that it immediately adds all filter types and design methods supported by FDAtool to the DSP Blockset. It also allows for easy migration from MATLAB to Simulink to The Real Time Workshop.
You should be able to design any of the filters that were provided in the DSP Blockset 4.0 (R12) with this FDAtool filter design block.
