Why is the keyboard accelerator for source control not working in the Editor/Debugger in MATLAB 7.0.1 (R14SP1)?

I am unable to use the shortcut ALT-F-U in MATLAB 7.0.1 (R14SP1) to open the source control menu in the Editor/Debugger. I could use this accelerator in MATLAB 6.5.1 (R13SP1).

This bug has been fixed in Release 14 Service Pack 3 (R14SP3). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:

This has been verified as a bug in MATLAB 7.0.1 (R14SP1) in the accelerator keys for the Editor/Debugger. Currently there are no known workarounds.
