I receive an improper readout on the screen when I generate code with Real-Time Workshop Embedded Coder 2.0 (R12PV1) on Japanese systems.

This is a bug in Real-Time Workshop Embedded Coder 2.0 (R12PV1) when operating on Japanese systems.
Currently, to work around this issue, try starting MATLAB without the Java virtual machine. You can do this by using the -nojvm flag. Change the target of your shortcut to MATLAB to
MATLAB_ROOT\bin\win32\matlab.exe -nojvm
