We are planing to implement a HIL test system with NI PXI-e system and recently trying to configure which PXI card to purchase by looking their xpc target compatibility to matlab2012a. One of the cards is PXI 6229.
Although PXI 6229 is shown in the supported hardware list for xpc target, there arent any blocks for PXI 6229 under xpc target library.
I wonder if anybody has used this card before for xPc.And if I could make Xpc target with these card somehow.
The next question is some PXI card buses are said to be used with Compact PCI bus in matlab support. Can I implement these PXI cards in PXI controller and chasis and use it same way as I could with PXI buses.

PXI-6229 is supported by the block "PCI-6229". For example see http://www.mathworks.com/help/releases/R2013b/xpc/io_ref/nationalinstrumentspci6229analoginput.html
The description mentions "AnalogInput block for PCI-6229and PXI-6229 boards" This is similar for other blocks in the same library as well.
