Hello, I have installed the new OS X Mavericks and now I can't work with Matlab. What can I do? Is there any application that allows me to open the matlab? Or I have to come back to Mac OS X?

You may need to reinstall Java 6. It seems that the OS is not prompting everyone to do this. Try the following, substituting your version of MATLAB into the path below:
- Open Applications->Utilities->Terminal
- Type:
/Applications/MATLAB_R2013a/bin/matlab
This may be enough for Mavericks to ask to install Java 6 for you.
