Hi, I am setting up a simple model to test the saturation on an integrator. The source is a sin wave with amplitude 5, that is 5sint. I pass it through a integrator and then through a saturation block with upper limit 3 and lower limit -3. By viewing the scope for the output, I found that the output is chopped by the limits, but part in between is linear not as expected as -5cost. Anyone knows what happens here? Thank you very much!

Hi Shaun,
I built a quick model reproducing the blocks that you mentioned and the scoped values appear as I expect them to:
I am not sure how to resolve this issue? Perhaps you can double check the connections in your model and look for any strange settings in the integrator block. Additionally, there is an Integrator Limited block available for use in Simulink, making the model a bit more simple.
