Umtoggle invalid function in plotguide

3 views (last 30 days)
HI! I have some problems with Matlab plotgui. I have Matlab 7.6.0 (R2008a) in Windows XP. When I use the graphical interface for PLS-DA, I want to explore the numbers and table of my plot from the plot controls, but I have the following message:
PLOTGUI ERROR USING UMTOGGLE AT 9. UMTOGGLE FUNCTION IS OBSOLETE. SET THE CHECKED PROPERTY OF UIMENU INSTEAD.
Please can anyone help me with this?
Thanks in advance
Carolina D.A.

Edit the source to
set(handle_of_uimenu, 'checked', 1 - get(handle_of_uimenu, 'checked'))
If that is not possible, then add your own umtoggle function earlier on the MATLAB path that does the above for you.

Hi Walter: I did what you suggested me by running it from the commando window. but no changes. I also tried to remove the umtoggle function from the toolbox but nothing. I think the best would be locate the place that is calling umtoggle how can I start? Thanks

The "dbstop if error" together with "dbup" can be used to locate the call to umtoggle.
