Why do I receive the error "Power PC applications are no longer supported" when installing MATLAB on an Intel based Mac? I am installing R2007a or later, i.e. I am definitely using a release of MATLAB which is a Universal or Intel binary.

This error indicates that the installation media you are using has become corrupted. Please redownload the MATLAB installer after temporarily disabling any se

This error may also occur if the ISO image was opened by a program other than DiskImageMounter. If this is happening, right-click on the .iso file, go to "Open with...," and select DiskImageMounter.
