Need a simple batch export of folder of fig files to excel spreadsheet

Ok I know very little if nothing about Matlab. I am in a unique position where I am covering for someone who normally handles matlab related files. I have been asked to take multple folders with .fig files and extract the Title Axis out of each. I have been reading on different ways to move stuff to excel, but most of the examples I found are only the data points. The bottom line is I don't have the time right now to experiment and learn. Can anyone point me to a script that does this or write one? I have a very short deadline, and I am trying to avoid opening each fig file and copying the title out manually.
