Hello,
I am trying to compute the Smith Normal Form of a matrix in MATLAB 2012. The Maple engine has been replaced with MuPad, but MuPad can't do it. There has been some code posted in previous threads, but they fail for certain matricies that Maple is able to solve. Has anyone solved this before? In the mean time, I may work on my own implementation. Alternatively, is there a way to link the Maple kernel to MATLAB 2012?
NOTE: I'm dealing with integer matrices (namely, boundary matrices for homology computations).
Regards
