Hi,
I am implementing a QAM 16 transmitter on FPGA.I can see data overshoot abruptly at various time instants in transmitted signal. But these overshoots were not observed in either Simulink simulation,Model Sim cosimulation or Black box simulation. The VHDL code was generated from Simulink model by HDL coder. Please make some suggestions to solve the issue and help me to find possible reasons for this.

Where are you seeing these overshoots? Is it during transmission with an RF transmitter? One suggestion is to try to loop back the data back to Simulink/the desktop from the FPGA. If you see that the loopback data looks right, you may need to check your RF card specification.

Sir,
I see the overshoot when I observe captured data from FPGA using chip scope software in computer screen. But such spikes are not seen in any simulation or cosimulation. The RF side is not overlooked now.
