Linking Matlab with ANSYS using status = dos(...)

Dear all, Today I encountered a strange problem. First, I start Matlab as 'Run as administrator' and it loads up. Once it loads up, I try the status = dos(...) in the COMMAND WINDOW which sends the command to ANSYS to run a job in batch mode. And this is fine.

The problem is when I try to put it in actual code.

When I try to run the actual code from the main function, ANSYS loads up as usual but before it starts solving, an error is thrown.

I can't understand how the same piece of code works fine in the command window and not in the main script.

Any ideas on how to tackle this please?
