Hide message using 5-bits LSB of Cover Image

I want to know, whether here there was ever tried to hide message in to 5-bit of LSB.? if there, what's happening with cover image.? The image is damaged or no.? Thanks..

Yes it's damaged. In bit 5 you'll probably see the "hidden" message. See attached demo.
