Regarding the busy status during optimisation

I'm running optimisations via lsqnonlin and usually when "its working" i can see the progress (the iterations etc) in the command window scrolling.

Now my question is: if the iterations stop scrolling in the command window, but matlab remains in busy status, do I assume that the optimisation is stuck, or is it still running but the progress wont display for some obscure reason?
