How can I remotely trigger Nexus recording?

I'd like to start/stop Vicon Nexus recording using Matlab on the host machine. I see there is a network option for remote start/stop but I don't know how output the network signals from Matlab or indeed what these should be. Any help is much appreciated.

Was anyone able to get this working? Looking for Matlab to remote trigger up to three applications via UDP, but having trouble just triggering Vicon Nexus successfully at this stage.

Hi. I did later in summer in 2014 using a parallel port I/O but I can't remember the details of it sadly... Some hacking together of analogue to digital box and soldering a parallel port connections is about as much as I can say (it was three post-docs and two cities ago).
