About termination criteria in terms of TolFun in fminsearch

Hi,

In function fminsearch, it is said in help that the option "TolFun" is the "Termination tolerance on the function value". I guess it probably means that, if the variation of evaluated values of the function remains in the range specified by TolFun, fminsearch will terminate. But the last several function evaluations of fminsearch running with "TolFun" set to 0.01 is: 0.5525, 0.5560, 0.5557, 0.5567, 0.5562, 0.5532, 0.5556, 0.5573, 0.5585. I got these data by print the return value in the user-defined function. According to my understanding, fminsearch should terminate because they are within the range 0.01, but fminsearch still runs. Now, to let fminsearch realize that it should terminate, what should I do?

Here is a hint. During execution, fminsearch generates a lot of exceptions as follows, I'm not sure if they are the reason for fminsearch to forget quit; they are provided here just as a hint.
