After getting mean frequency and median for EMG signal, how to plut in time domain

Hi Everyone: I have got the mean frequency and median frequency. I want to plot like Fig 1a, on page 3 in the following link. How am I going to do it? http://www.eurasip.org/Proceedings/Eusipco/Eusipco2011/papers/1569427815.pdf

Q2: I thought mean and median frequency only has one single value for all of my samples for both of PSD in mean frequency and median frequency. As the result, how am I going plot like Fig 1a?

I am kind of confused and any help will be appreciated.

They do a time-frequency analysis. You need to read Reference [5].
