Does derivative block insert disturbance in a circuit?

What made me to ask this question is to know whether the derivative block introduce disturbace to a signal or not?. I had data for bot velocity and accelaration in excel format which i exported to signal builder and could see the wave form in scope. te curves are smooth when i generate the accelaration curve from signal builder,But the same accelaration when i generate usind a derivative block from velocity signal i could see the disturbance int the out put curve, but the values are same. Could anybody tell me 1)what creates this diturbace in the curve of accelaration when i use the derivative block? 2)is there any way to minimize/eliminate this disturbance?
