Add to Path->Selected Folders and Subfolders not working on network drive?

I recently swithched to R2014a and I have found the possibility to right-click a folder and choose "Add to Path"->"Selected Folders and Subfolders" quite usefull. Unfortnately, I have found that, when working on a mapped network drive, this does not work. The functionality seems to work, no messages are issued, but the selected folders are not added to the path. Anything I can do to help this happen?
