why cpcorr function only shifts the control point by 4 pixels?

In "cpcorr" function the function uses 11 X 11 pixels for estimating the cross correlation of the intensity but only shifts the pixel by 4 not by 5. why is it so??

Did someone know the answer for the question asked earlier? Is there a way to shift the pixels by more than 4? Kindly help. Thanks.
