hybrid supercapacitor and battery energy storage system for offgrid hydro turbine

Hi Guys,

I am trying to model a hybrid energy storage system (Supercapacitor & battery) using the example in Matlab (2014a).

I am wondering how to change the charge source. In the example, the power source is a DC voltage source. In my simulation, I want to change it to a hydro turbine/generator with variable voltage and current. Can anyone please start me off with the basics? Thank s.

I have tried to connect the hybrid energy storage system to a controlled current source but it does not work. Please help.
