How to visualize a volume (visual hull) given a binary 3D array in Matlab?

If you use patch() you will need to set alpha parameters in order to be able to see "into" the object.
You may wish to consider using scatter3() and adjust the point size so that it does not fill up the entire cell, allowing you to look behind any one point.
