I just downloaded the r2014a version of matlab and for some reason I cannot seem to get it to use the "vpa" function. I checked by simply typing "help vpa" in the command window and it prompted that vpa was not found. I did this on an older version of matlab and a help file came up. Has anyone else had this issue and come to a work around? Thank you

vpa is part of the Symbolic Math Toolbox. In the Command Window, type ver to see if you have this toolbox installed.

Never mind, I figured out. I need to get the requisite toolbox that supports vpa.
