Fails to boot target computer into xPC environment

1 view (last 30 days)
I am setting a new desktop computer (Lenovo M83 series) to be a target for xPC-target.
I have tried removable disk option and CD boot option with no success so I resorted to using a network boot, which has been working fine with my old computer from 2009.
However, it simply fails to load the xPC environment. xPC boot server is able to fetch the MAC address from target machine, and target machine is able to see there exists a network boot image it can get into. After that, target computer simply shows a blank screen.
I tried to ping the target computer from a host, but that fails as well. I have verified that the ethernet chipset on the target computer is under supported hardware list.
I was not able to use other desktop computer (generic one I built myself) into xPC environment.
Only difference I see between a computer that I can load into xPC environment and ones that I cannot seem to be the age of motherboards on them (I enabled legacy boot on BIOS, by the way). Am I missing some BIOS setting on the target computer? What makes target computer to see the network boot image but fail to successfully get into the xPC environment?

Hi, have you solved this problem? Funny, I have also bought a Lenovo M83 and now trying to make it as a Target PC. I tried to boot the target PC via network boot and got the same problem as you described. Any idea for a solution? Thanks.
