How do you add impulsive noise in transmission data along with AWGN for wireless communication using MATLAB?

As I am implementing one paper attached. In that paper theoretical analyses are well defined in which impulsive noise's effect with AWGN is given. But for simulation except PDF of impulsive noise nothing is given.
