Customization of Fixed-Point Division, SQRT, and Transcendentals

While there were many problems with the Xilinx AccelDSP tool, one of its best features (IMO) was the ability to select and evaluate different implementations of operations such as divide, square root, and transcendentals. Now that support for AccelDSP has been deprecated, I am preparing for the inevitable port of our project to future tools. Does HDL Coder (or Fixed-Point Toolbox) provide similar functionality as AccelDSP? If not, how do recommend evaluating such trade-offs using HDL Coder in combination with other toolboxes?

Someone mentioned the "Fixed Point Advisor" a couple of days ago. I did not look to see how extensive its guidance was.
