How to load numeric & string (web log data) data from .txt file or csv file

I want to load apache access log dataset in matlab given as
10.1.49.39 0 0 [12/May/2014:10:33:35 530] GET HTTP/1.1 200 491 0 Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux i686; rv:27.0)Gecko/20100101 Firefox/27.0"
which command is suitable for loading this dataset. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

Without any obvious delimiters in the above string, it is unclear what each column should contain for text. What do you hope to do with this file once you have read it in to MATLAB? Are you looking for particular information?
