How can I create a polar contour plot when having data for one dimension and angle?

Hi everybody!
I'm stuck to a problem and can't proceed at all, so, if anyone, please help!
I want to create a plot in the x-y plane similar to the attached one. I have data for every x point and at different values of the angle from 0-90 degrees. I tried to calculate the y-coordinate [y=x*tan(theta)] at each angle and plot various contours with "hold on" command between them. However, the result was not the expected.
Do you have any ideas? I can give more details, if needed.
Thank you all!!

More information about what the x data and angles data that you have actually represent would be more helpful to plot.
