How to compute frequency shift for mobile node in ieee 802.11

I want to do the following:
  • establish an 802.11 access point and a mobile node.
  • the mobile node should move towards the access points
  • the mobile node should read the exact value of the frequency while moving.
  • the mobile node should compute the frequency shift between different values of frequencies.
