Does anyone know how to use the DWT (Discrete Wavelet Transform) block for signal decomposition?

I did a model circuit and connected the DWT block to the output, after feeding in a sinusoidal voltage signal. But MATLAB complained that the DWT block only takes in frame-based signals, and i was advised to use a buffer block, which I did. I also did modifications in the properties of each of the blocks, but the model did not run. Does anyone have any ideas on what i could do? I'm working on doind signal processing using wavelet analysis. Thanks
