Error message when running the matlab_R2014a_win64.exe file

Closed: MATLAB Answer Bot on 20 Aug 2021

I receive an error message saying

WinZip Self-Extractor header corrupt. Possible cause: bad disk file transfer error

when i try running the matlab_R2014a_win64.exe file.

I deleted the files and re-installed but it gave me the same error message

Any idea why this issue occurs?
