Use Matlab to control a third party driver (Keithley 3706-S)

4 views (last 30 days)
I have a Keithley 3706-S switcher. I wanted to automate some tests which involve switching the microphones inputs. It is very important that I use Matlab to achieve this.
The Matlab Version I use is, R2007a. I can't afford changing the software. However, I am willing to put in all my time for working out a way around it.
Currently, there is a solution posted for R2008a with the Instrument Control Toolbox. http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/20000-keithley-3706-system-switch-%E2%80%93-driver
I would be very grateful if someone could help me with this.

Perhaps you could first test the existing driver on R2007a and see if you run into issues? If you're lucky, it might just work as it is. If not, you might be able to contact the author to see if it involves only minor fixes.
