MatLab on Mac running slow

Hello!

I have just bought a brand-new MacBook Pro (10.9.4, 16Gb, 3GHz) and got really upset, when I found out my MatLab functions work at least 1.5 slower than on my old Vaio (6Gb, 2.8GHz). I'm using MatLab 2013a.

I googled the problem a bit, looks like I'm not the only one suffering. Here's my bench:

0.1189 0.1456 0.1156 0.1715 1.3832 1.5673

What should I do? Maybe there are some preferences I should set?
