Upgrade License manager from 11.9 to 11.11

Hello, We will be upgrading our Mathworks Matlab to 2014b. It states we should use the latest FlexNet license manager. We are at 64bit version 11.9 and we want to upgrade to 11.11. Can you provide the steps to do so. Thanks Rick

The wording I recall is not "latest license manager", but the license manager that comes with the specific release like here R2014b. When you download R2014b, the license manager is part of it (when having a license that actually needs FLEXnet).

I have read the document and it is not clear on what the installation does with the old version. If I select "Do NOT onfigure license manager as a service". Then stop my old and start the new service does this leave the old service on the server? Once the new one is installed and works how do I remove the old service and files that went with it? It could become confussing having both versions on the server.

I see my license manager knowledge is limited. It just responded as typically those question in this product related community are not answered at all. I see you are in the US and I suggest to call installation support: 508-647-7000 then follow the menu technical support and then installation support.
