How can I publish a table in a report which can be copied to excel?

I need to be able to report my results to colleges. To do this I need to make a report which includes both text and tables. I did this using the report generator with an array based table. The created tables however will not copy into excel correctly. Instead the entire colums move into a single cell and komma's are misplaced.

Is there a way to create a table in any report format (pdf, html,...) which can be directly copied into excel? The data/table cannot be in a file separated from the text.

The method also needs to be compatible on both Mac and Windows.
