print a 'mesh' image to a file fails (R2014b, Yosemite)

R2014b installed and working on MacBook Pro. Scripts developed and used under previous versions work fine until encountering a print command to export an image created by 'mesh' to a file (-dpng, -dpsc, and -djpeg formats all failed). Simply 'print' to the default printer works.
