How can let Photodetector recieve more than one reflection signal

6 views (last 30 days)
Dear Sir, My name is Mohamed Elwakdy. I am working as Research Assistant at American University in Cairo. I am working in radar project at American University from August 1, 2011. In this project, I am using Matlab Program and I have difficult to solve some problems with this program. In this project, I am using the chirp signal that is embedded in laser beam to the object through the laser diode. The reflection signals will reflect on the photodetectors. I will use the photodetector as array (8*8) (64 Photodetectors). I am looking to let each photodetector receive more than one reflection signal so I would like to know “What is the Matlab Code that I can use it for that??”
Thank you very much
Have Great and Fantastic Day
Mohamed

You cannot prevent it from happening using MATLAB code, so you do not need to do anything special.
Perhaps your question is more about how you can differentiate between the different reflections hitting the same photo-detector? If so, that is something you should work out the theory for first, and only then worry about implementing the theory in MATLAB.
MATLAB has no built-in library to decode multiple reflections hitting the same photodetector.
