How can I only have some of the legends in Plot Tools?

3 views (last 30 days)
I plot some data bars with errorbars using some function available* and then edit the legends in Plot Tools. The problem is that Plot Tools considers errorbars as a new set of data and prepares a legend for it. So, when I click on the legend button, I have two sets of legends: one for the actual data bars and one for the errorbars and I cannot find a way to hide the legend for errorbars. Even if I put blank for their legends, the legend box is still big as if there should be the legends for errorbars there. Changing the legend box's size won't hide those missing legends also.
So, my question is: how can I hide the legends for some of the data (in this case errorbars) in Plot Tools?
Thanks!

This is possible if you assign handles to all the pieces you wanted plotted, and then call them in the legend command. Someone here should hopefully be able to guide you, if they can't find the time, try to google how to use the handles. I have seen a solution posted for this somewhere on this site already before.
