Issue in print with R2014b (Windows)

I've just upgraded to R2014b from R2014a and I noticed that the script I have been working on now produces a grey bar where the title should be when printing a figure to a .png file. The figure within MATLAB looks fine but when I open the .png file I see the grey bar. Using the Save As option in the Figure Window the .png file looks fine. My particular script produces and prints two figures, one showed the problem and the other did not. Both plots have a 2-line title. I tried shortening the second line of the title in the figure that was having problems and the error went away. I then tried printing at 72 dpi instead of 300 dpi and that also fixed the error, without having to shorten the title string. I'm using software OpenGL which was the default arrangement when R2014b started up. It did give me a warning message that "MATLAB has disabled some advanced graphics rendering features by switching to software OpenGL"
