How find points where the derivative is not continuous from the curve in an image?

Hi,
As mentioned as above,my constraints is i don't know how to implement wavedec on this. From the example i found, http://www.mathworks.com/help/wavelet/examples/detecting-discontinuities-and-breakdown-points.html ,it was just shown how it can be done on a wave and i really have no idea how it can be done on an image. The image i want to find the points is as shown below:
Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It looks in the list of questions as if you've answered it yourself. You need to make your answer into a comment so that the question still shows as having 0 answers.
I think it may not be clear which points in the image you need to find. Perhaps you could show, for your example image, which points need to be detected. Also, how is the derivative defined for the junctions where edges meet?
