2 views (last 30 days)
I am using detectSURFfeature tool but it is not working. Whatever is the image the error is shown as "Undefined function 'detectSURFFeatures' for input arguments of type 'uint8'". But the input is of uint8 only.

You probably have to convert the image to double
I = im2double(I);
or (without the Image Processing TB)
I = double(I)/255;

Thank you Thosten. But it is not working too. Now the error changed to "Undefined function 'detectSURFFeatures' for input arguments of type 'double'."

detectSURFFeatures has been available in the Computer Vision System Toolbox since the R2011b release. So to use it you need MATLAB R2011b or later with the Computer Vision System Toolbox.
