How to call matlab .m file from java in netbeans

Hi I am currently working in rough set theory(RST) for unsupervised learning. I am coding in java. In java it seems difficult to code rough set. So i have a plan to write RST code in matlab (Ex: rough.m) and call it in java code where ever i need. Still i didn't start to code rough.m and i need to know how to call matlab file from java. I also tried matlabcontrol. But i don't know how to call matlab file from java. Can any one give me an idea to solve this problem. Thanks in advance
