When running a Polyspace job from the client machine and submitting to a MATLAB Parallel Server cluster, I see the following error:
* End of Polyspace verification
*
Error: An unexpected error occurred during the Polyspace job submission
| Unable to write data to the job manager database.

This error can occur for multiple reasons:
1. This error message will occur if the Polyspace client does not have a valid download result folder. When using Polyspace Web Metrics, your client has the ability to download the results from the Polyspace server. If the destination folder does not exist on the client, you may receive this error message.
On the Polyspace client, you can view the folder being used to download results to from the server in the Polyspace Preferences, under "Download results automatically". Make sure the corresponding folder exists.
2. This error message can occur if you have change the Job scheduler host name in the Polyspace Preferences menu, but you have not closed and re-launched Polyspace after changing this option.
When Polyspace is launched, MATLAB is launched in the background, and it registers the machine used as the job scheduler as listed in the Polyspace preferences menu. In order to update this, the Polyspace Bug Finder or Code Prover software must be closed and re-opened.
