Neural Network Tool Detailed Explanations

Hello,

I am working on a project which is related about Hydraulics for civil engineering. There are datas which come from researches with answers and also those datas used in a program and I have those answers too. So I can compare results both come from real experiments and program solutions (I don't give the name of program due to advertisement).

I am trying to teach those datas to Matlab's Neural Network Tool (nntool) but I need clear and detailed explanations of the things that on toolbox such as adaption functions, learning functions, layers etc..

Also I need information about SVR and SVM.

Is there anybody can help me about that ?

It sounds like you need a good beginning text. Maybe some of the younger contributors can recommend some. Meanwhile, check the MATLAB documentation.
