I need a function that finds the determinant of a matrix with randi(n) it is in row that is to be calculated, use cofactor method

function [dtr] = cofactor_row_A)
dtr=0;
n= length(A);
m= randi(n);
if n==1
dtr=A(1,1);

This sounds like a homework assignment. If it is, show us the code you've written to try to solve the problem and ask a specific question about where you're having difficulty and we may be able to provide some guidance.
If you aren't sure where to start because you're not familiar with how to write MATLAB code, I suggest you start with the free MATLAB Onramp tutorial (https://www.mathworks.com/support/learn-with-matlab-tutorials.html) to quickly learn the essentials of MATLAB.
If you aren't sure where to start because you're not familiar with the mathematics you'll need to solve the problem, I recommend asking your professor and/or teaching assistant for help.
If this isn't homework, there's probably a way to accomplish your main goal without computing the determinant. If you're trying to determine if a matrix is singular use cond or rcond. If you're trying to solve a system of equations, don't use Cramer's rule. Use the mldivide, \ function or operator instead. If you absolutely must compute the determinant, use det.
