Hello everybody,
I built up the setup of a four bar Linkage that is described in the MathWorks Documentation here: Four Bar Mathworks Documentation
- My first question is: How do I have to change the parameters to achieve a full rotating movement? The shortest linkage should always move on a full 360° circle, when I'm right. But which parameters do I have to change? Concerning this matter I tried a simulation with a specify velocity to the Base Crank Revolute joint (on the left). When I chose a really high value, for example 30 rad/s, my four bar linkage moves rotating. But only by testing and guessing is a little bit to easy.. So how do I exactly know, (so at which grades° or with which velocity) the movement isn't a full rotational anymore? There have to be any formula, or am I wrong?
- My second question: Is it possible to output the courses of the two linkages? The run of the curve for the wing, who only moves on a half circle back and forward. And the same for the short paddock, who should move full time on a circle.
- The third and last question: Is it possible to connect the created setup with an Matlab Script? For example: The user is forced to pretend the lengths of the linkages and the grades. Then, this data is sent to the Simulink setup. Finally, the Simulation in the Mechanics Explorer will be presented.
So a lot of questions.. but it would be very nice, when you can help me a little bit. Thank you in advance!
