Matlab 2014b - Editor Problems

Greetings, I have Matlab 2014b installed as a shared resource on a RHEL 6.6 server and have recently had issues where, after the users would load their data sets, the editor function became unresponsive to clicks.

I'm honestly not certain how to troubleshoot this issue as there are plenty of memory resources to be had. Can someone make recommendations on where to start?
