PID Controller: Different behavior for external parameter compared to internal parameter in Simulink

Hi,
I use a PID block in Simulink. To test my PID parameter I use a step impuls.
For the model I need to set the "Output saturation". It is possible to change between internal or external source for
the values.
Crazy: If I use internal parameters an set the value e.g. to 250, everything works fine!
If I use the same value with an constan block and external ports, the simulation does not work (stops at the moment
when the step impuls takes place). If I reduce the step size, I even get different results for both methods .....?
Is this a bug?
