Computing pseudo-inverse and norms using pinv

4 views (last 30 days)
I need to compute the pseudo-inverse as well as the norms using pinv of m = [ones(1000,1), repmat([2,0]', 500, 1)];
I've looked into it and it says I should use the equation x=pinv(m)*b, but I haven't defined b. Where have I gone wrong?

Well I have no idea why you should use the equation
x=pinv(m)*b
to get the pseudoinverse and the norms (whatever norms is supposed to include).
The pseudoinverse you get from the pinv function alone.
