Code for Coupled Discrete Dynamical Systems

Consider two dynamical systems $$Z_{n+1}=f(W_n, Z_{n-1})$$ and $$W_{n+1}=f(Z_n, W_{n-1})$$ where $z_0, w_0,z_{-1}, w_{-1}$ are given.
The function $f, g$ are defined from $\mathbf{C}^2$ to $\mathbf{C}$.
Can anyone help to code the sequences Z_n and W_n???
